As the old adage goes, and cheap tattoos aren’t good. In a place like Canggu in Bali, where tattoo studios seem to pop up on every corner, every other day. It’s easy for the industry to slip into discounting or a price war. But the truth is simple: this never benefit's the client.

At Charlie Rose Tattoo Studio, we have no interest in underpaying our Tattoo Artists just to compete with cheaper studios. When tattooing becomes a price war the quality is undermined and then it's just a race to the bottom, the only one who loses is you, the client. Quality drops. Corners get cut, and the whole tattoo experience becomes rushed and impersonal.

That’s why we stand firmly by our pricing.

Our minimum rate of 2,000,000 IDR may seem higher than some, but you’re not paying for a rushed, production-line tattoo. You’re paying for time, attention, experience, safety, and craftsmanship.

When a tattoo artist is overworked and underpaid, there is simply no way they can give you:

• proper attention to detail

• high-quality materials

• thoughtful design

• safe, hygienic processes

• or the personal experience that tattooing deserves

We believe in respecting our artists and paying them a good salary, so they can focus entirely on delivering the best possible work. Tattooing is personal. It’s permanent. It deserves patience, care, and craftsmanship — not discounts.

The truth is- Good tattoo artists don't work for cheap.

At Charlie Rose Tattoo, we don’t do flash sales.

We dont haggle over the price.

We don’t do “cheap but fast.”

We don’t do production-line ink.

If someone wants a 500,000 IDR tattoo knocked out in 20 minutes, there are plenty of studios willing to do that.

We are not that Studio.

What we do offer is quality.

We offer artists who are paid well enough to take their time.
